Kierre has been a very close friend and confidant for Jaylah since 3rd grade. She is like the sister she never had. She is the mother of Jaylah’s 3 God daughters Asia, Layla, and Ava. Kierre is the true definition of a ride or die friend. Through anything, Kierre is there right or wrong. She’s there for the laughs, the cries, the ups and the downs.

Elona is Jaylah’s cousin that’s not a cousin, but can’t nobody tell them that they are not cousins. Since 7th and 8th grade, Elona and Jaylah were pretty much inseparable. Memories that we should not speak of. Although Elona has enjoyed her adult years traveling state to state, she never fails to be a very supportive and present friend to Jaylah.
Danisha Richardson

First, let me say she is part of the reason we are here today. With the celebration of her birthday, Danisha brought this lovely couple together unexpectedly. Danisha is also a really close friend of Jaylah’s. Along with her sister Elona, she has multiple unforgettable memories from middle school up until now. Danisha has always been so supportive, encouraging, and a trusted friend of Jaylah’s.

Julia has been a close friend and confidant of Jaylah’s since Alycia brought them together in 2021. Julia is full of life and great energy. If “if you like it I love it” was a person it would be Julia. A very supportive and understanding friend, Julia is a very warm hearted individual that anyone would love to be a around.

Dazshanique is a close friend of Jaylah’s since 2019 when Kierre brought them together. Their relationship continued to grow as a group of 4. Sharing late night karaoke sessions, taco Tuesdays, and family events with the kids; Poca is a close confidant in Jaylah’s life. You would say she is the life of the party, full of energy and good vibes. But more importantly, Poca is supportive and has a big heart!

Erin has been a close, genuine friend of Jaylah’s since they attended Bowling Green State University together back in 2016. They played on the club basketball team together where they made a pretty good two man team on the court. Since college, Erin and Jaylah has traveled together on various occasions and have managed to keep in touch. Erin, moving to Columbus, the two has become close confidants for one another. Erin has always been supportive, encouraging, motivational, and a really good friend to Jaylah since the two have met. Continuing her career path, she has since moved out of state, but the two still remains good friends!

Alycia has been a friend of Jaylah's since 2019 as Poca brought her around the group of girls. Alycia and Jaylah has grown a tight friendship throughout the years, even outside of the friend group. Alycia is a very close confidant of Jaylah's. Before the two had work schedule changes, they would spend multiple days of the week hanging out, and studying together along with their other bestie Autumn, Alycias daughter.

Being the youngest, you’d think he’d be the one looking up to his big brother, but honestly, D'Aundre learned so much from him. His kindness, his huge heart, and the way he cares about the people in his life has been inspirational. Gabriel may be the youngest, but he’s always brought wisdom and warmth far beyond his years.
