Can we bring children?

While we adore children, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only affair. We hope you understand and can arrange for childcare during the celebration.

Will there be alcohol served?
Answer
Yes, there will be alcohol. A portion of the night will be a cash bar, so plan accordingly!

Can we bring our own alcohol or other party favors?
Answer
We kindly ask you not to bring any outside drinks or substances. Doing so, will resort in being escorted out of the venue.

No, unless otherwise listed on your invite.

What accommodations are available for out-of-town guests?
Answer
We've arranged special rates with nearby hotels for our out-of-town guests. Please check the Travel page on our website for more information and booking details.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony starts at 5:30. Please arrive promptly 30 minutes. Failure to do so may result in missing the ceremony and only attending cocktail hour / reception.

Will there be dietary options for guests with specific food preferences or allergies?

Yes, we want everyone to enjoy the celebration to the fullest. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or preferences when you RSVP, and our catering team will accommodate your needs.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

The dress code is formal. Tuxedos and gowns are encouraged, but cocktail dresses and nice suits are also acceptable.

Will there be onsite parking available?
Answer
Absolutely, there's plenty of parking space onsite. However, it's worth noting that Powhatan, Virginia, is a rural area. While we strongly discourage drinking and driving, it's important to be aware that ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft might be limited, especially during late hours.

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony and reception?
Answer
While we want you to capture memories of our special day, we kindly ask that you refrain from using flash photography during the ceremony. Feel free to snap away during the reception and share your favorite moments with us!

What should I keep in mind when traveling to the venue?
Answer
Since the venue is located in a rural area with limited cell phone service, we recommend mapping out your journey beforehand and allowing for extra travel time. It's also a good idea to have backup directions in case GPS signal is weak.
