When Jayla and Jessica first met, they were just two strangers in training, focused on learning their new roles. When Jayla first saw Jessica via Teams, her interest was immediately piqued; Jessica’s smile and goofy personality during introductions caught her eye right away. Jayla certainly caught Jessica’s eye, too .. but maybe not in the way you’d think. Jessica’s very first impression? She thought Jayla’s glasses were way too big for her face! Crazy, right? After a few weeks, Jayla bravely asked Jessica for her number so they could get better acquainted, Jessica agreed. Shortly after, they discovered they were assigned to sit right next to each other for in-person training—talk about irony! They began messaging here and there and hanging out as friends, but eventually, that wasn't enough for Jayla (of course!). She wanted to truly get to know Jessica, so she asked her out on a date. Jessica declined the first time... and the second... and the third. Yikes! But Jayla didn't let that steer her away; she saw something special in Jessica that she couldn't let go. When Jessica finally agreed to that first date, their chemistry blossomed naturally. As they spent more time together, their bond grew deeper, and you could see a new glow in both of them. Jessica always calls Jayla her "peace," even in chaotic moments, and feels like the luckiest woman because Jayla’s patience and persistence gave her something new to look forward to. Two strangers from different paths and with opposite personalities are now connecting as one.
