We met the way all great love stories begin: at a bar.

I walked in to this bar I had never been to and was immediately stopped in my tracks when I saw a man rapping “My Posse on Broadway” by Sir Mix-A-Lot, and somehow absolutely owning it. I was intrigued by the confidence... I later found out he doesn’t drink alcohol, which made the confidence even more impressive. He was clearly just as stunned by me, because he shot his shot… and unfortunately for both of us, I turned him down. A few days later, Hunter somehow figured out where I lived (a bold move, but if you know Hunter and where we live, you understand). We were basically neighbors, but had met 45 minutes away from our town?? Despite still being turned down, he left notes around town and honked every time he drove by, completely unfazed and totally determined. It didn’t take long for his tenacity to win me over. On our first date, we found ourselves dancing by the Salt Lake River, this time with no microphone, just music and a feeling that maybe this story wasn’t over yet. About a month later, we packed up and took an impromptu trip to Utah together, shutting off our phones and navigating with a roadmap we bought at the start of the trip! That’s when it became clear this was more than just fun. Somewhere between the road trips, laughter, and quiet moments, we realized we had found something really special. A few years later, the proposal came! In a small town in Colorado, at a peaceful pond where we fish a few times a year together, surrounded by nature, family, and love, he asked me to marry him! This time there was no way I would turn him down, of course I said yes! That day alone could be written into a 50 chapter novel. We celebrated with homemade pizzas made by my soon-to-be brother-in-law, full hearts and belly's, and the kind of joy you wish you could bottle forever. Now, we sing karaoke in a truck different than the one we first took of in - on long road trips, and we still dance together, in the kitchen of the home we designed and built ourselves. We still take impromptu trips, often with family, because we’re all a little too close to leave each other for long! We can't wait for all of you to be apart of our story on the night of our wedding!
