Maid of Honor
Oldest sister of the bride, and (arguably) the most fun of the three. Seriously, this girl could get a nursing home up and partying. Jenna is a social butterfly (and still regularly gets calls from her local Junior League for party planning tips), a loyal sister and friend, but take her stories with a grain of salt, because she likes to elaborate on the details "to make them more fun." You will most likely find her on the dance floor, or on the stage. You never know honestly, we'll see where the night leads!
Best Man
Travis's brother, and one of the smartest men in any room he walks into. He may be a coder by trade, but you will generally find Jason playing every board game under the sun (and I mean every one, his collection is insane), or being just super cool at his downtown SA apartment. You can thank this guy for the bride's signature cocktail find.
Matron of Honor
Middle sister of the bride, and definitely the most fun when she has a few cocktails in her. She is also (arguably) the most accomplished sister of the three, as she just started her own OBGYN practice this year in Abilene! Jackie is known for giving honest advice, never keeping her emotions hidden, and maintaining a level head while her two crazy sisters fly off the handle. But don't let her sweet and seemingly gentle demeanor fool you - she has been known to cheat at board games on occasion.
Best Man
Mathew Lee Anderson. Best man. Best friend. And that's where the best ends. Their friendship began like all real friendships begin, with a girl. Matt liked a girl that Travis sat next to. And one day, to great surprise to both Travis and Matt, this very beautiful, popular girl decided to talk to Travis. Now, Travis was what some would call a "late bloomer." He rocked a homemade bowl cut, mouth full of metal, and he looked as if he shared a bagel with the trash every morning (means I looked skinny, Matt). I have to explain things for him. Anyways, all this into account you'd think the very popular and esteemed Matt Anderson would have taken mercy on Travis.. Nope Matt screamed, "Travis loves Tracy!" Stepping on his head when he was already drowning. The rest is history.

Katie and I lived together for the past several years while co-parenting my two cats, whom I'm pretty sure are clinically depressed now that she lives across the state. We first bonded over our mutual love of Jesse McCartney, snagging food and froyo from other college dorms (thank you for your service, SRD), and being completely inactive in our college sororities. She works as a very gifted counselor in Nacogdoches, TX, and being her friend has not only taught me more about understanding others, but how to better understand and love myself. She gets married a month before me, and I couldn't be more excited!
Groomsman
Reid is Travis' oldest friend dating back to elementary school where he was constantly in a cast from breaking something. One time the wind blew just a little too hard and left RJ with a broken wrist. None the less RJ is a man. In college he broke his collarbone after making an interception. He then proceeded to put dirt on his face and in his eyes... why? Some would say it was to absorb the tears coming out of his face. Others say, "I was just in a lot of pain I was not crying I am not Mathew Lee Anderson." YA OKAY RJ WE GET IT YOU'RE A MAN. Still caught it though. True story. He is also the father of two beautiful boys, thanks Jodi, that already resemble him in many ways.... My God have mercy on Angelo.
Bridesmaid
Blair is easily one of the most gentle and warm people I know, but in order to really understand her, you must know that she once recreated Beyoncé's single ladies dance for a full audience, absolutely KILLED it, and received a well-deserved standing ovation. We lived together in college and have been bonded ever since. When I first met Blair's husband KC, he was genuinely baffled when he saw us together, because we act like giddy twins every time we get to see each other, which is too seldom these days. Eventually I'll convince KC to let her move back in with me again - its my long con.
Groomsman
Merrymaker Hanson has been Travis' friend since High School. They became friends after Travis publicly embarrassed him in front of the football team by destroying him in Super Smash Brothers. Travis remains undefeated. In every game they have ever 1v1. He has never beat him. Not once. It haunts the Merrymaker to this day. He tries so hard. It's so cute. True story.
Bridesmaid
Connie has been a dear friend of mine since we lived together in the Central Staff housing at Singing Hills, Laity Lodge Youth Camp. From late night chats, decorating the helium tank in our living room like Harry Potter, starting dance parties in the kitchen and taking days off to eat sushi (a questionable but desperate choice in Kerrville, TX), she quickly became one of my favorite people to be around. She and her husband just moved back from living in Portland for the past couple years, and although I'll miss the excuse to go visit them in the land of actual seasons, I am eternally grateful that she is now in the same city as me again!
Groomsman
Dustin and Travis became friends when Dustin found Travis's wallet in a random cleat in the locker room. Travis is not known for losing anything so it was a surprise when he found it there... but none the less these two instantly hit it off with similar interest in hunting and sports. On the court, Travis humbled Dustin constantly by calling him into small conferences at the 3 point line. Travis is solely responsible for pushing Dustin to becoming the athlete he is. He also taught him how to shoot a gun. Poor guy didn't even know how to hold one.... you're welcome, Duddy.
Bridesmaid
Rachel was born on the official first day of Spring, and I cannot think of a more appropriate way to describe her. She has a knack for growing things in the natural world (per the ever-blossoming garden in her backyard), but even more, a gift of cultivating beauty and creativity wherever she goes. We lived together for most of college, and I knew we would be immediate friends when I first met her wearing a colorful tie-dye shirt. She is thoughtful, joyful, and although she mishears music lyrics frequently, she still sings the wrong words with considerable skill. I had the great honor of traveling with her family to Italy during college, which we appropriately dubbed "our friend honeymoon," so Travis is unfortunately having to accept that our actual honeymoon will, in fact, be my second.
Groomsman
Evan and Travis became closer friends later in life but always knew each other being one of his brothers best friends. Bonding over volleyball, lifting and video games, Shimmybear and Travis became close. There is not a more selfless and caring man than the Bear. He got this nickname when Travis saved him from a Grizzly. Actually killed it with his bear... hands. Evan bear...ly got away with his life. True story.
Bridesmaid
Maryn is by far one of the most badass people I know (excuse my French, but it's true). It is literally impossible to not feel comfortable in her presence, and wholly accepted for who you are. We met through summer camp and knew each other in passing, but she became one of my very best friends when I first moved to San Antonio. New to the city and working as a brand new teacher with literally no training to my name, Maryn was both a rock and a very needed escape from one of the most overwhelming seasons of my life. She is supportive, encouraging, and honest, and I am very thankful to be back in the same city as her again! She just graduated from graduate school and works as a counselor in a local hospital, so if anyone wants to buy her a drink, she deserves it.

Mr. Dugas and Travis' friendship is more pure than the waters of a glacier. They bonded over gaming and their love for the outdoors... but lets be honest it was all about the games. Countless late nights teaching lesser beings what a real man looks like behind the sticks. These two are an unstoppable force. A fun story we like to tell is when we both saved our poor helpless friend, Matt Anderson, by carrying him together... to the car after he was stung by a sting ray. I've never seen a grown man cry so much... But, Travis did most the work. But Dugie helped kind of but not really it was all Travis now that I think about it Dugie wasn't even there you're welcome, Ders.
Bridesmaid
Out of all of my friends in this group, I have by far known Payton the longest. As little kids, we knew each other from playing at the local pool together, but became best friends in 6th grade math class. She's always been a kindred spirit to me, sharing my love of theater, music, and art, but she is also very patient, as proven through her choice to listen and give feedback on the many love poems I wrote for my middle school boyfriend. She also played a key role in orchestrating my first kiss with this same gentleman in the 7th grade - pretending to "forget her jacket downstairs" at the movie theater so he would have the chance to make his move. She's been next to me through practically every adolescent memory, and I am thankful she will be by my side to create the best memory of all!
Groomsman
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooo KJ. My sweet, soft spoken, polite, patient and loving KJ. Kyle and Travis became friends after Kyle realized how smart Travis really was. After Travis dunked on Kyle in a game of Cranium, Travis won the Medical Doctor's respect and friendship. Kyle told Travis, "You are the smartest man on this planet. You are gosh darn impressive in every way. You have a perfectly chiseled jaw." The last part was weird... But his words.. true story.
Bridesmaid
I first met Evelyn in my victory lap of college (no regrets) when she moved to Austin after her graduation from ACU. I shared a master bedroom with her and Katie, and although sharing a room with two other people and sleeping in a twin bed to conserve space might sound like a nightmare to some, it was by far one of the best years of my life. If you ever want to do something spontaneous and exciting, Evelyn is your girl. She is one of the most interesting humans I know, and I've had the pleasure of experiencing many an adventure with her - from camping up the west coast to exploring Hobbiton in New Zealand. She just moved back home to California, and we are all in mourning indefinitely until she concedes and finally returns to Texas.

Matty D. The ultimate hype man. If you're going for a PR in anything just have Davis there and he'll have you believing you can bend steel. A great friend and a great man his face is always ready to catch a volleyball. When you see him, make sure you ask him to show you the scar Travis gave him from playing beach volleyball... yes... beach volleyball.... he got a scar.. ask him.
Bridesmaid
Sweet Annabelle - you can thank this pretty lady for this whole shindig happening in the first place! She convinced Travis to sign up for a dating website, insisting that his luck in finding women was running alarmingly slim, and his best odds lie in maximizing his options. She lended her talented hand to pick out his profile pictures (excellent choices), help to curate his bio (beautifully done), and weed through the first round of choices (very much appreciated). She is an event curator by trade, but is probably even better at helping others, including myself, coordinate our lives. We bond over the Bachelor and the Hallmark channel together, but despite our questionable taste in entertainment, she's become one of my favorite and most trusted friends. So thankful for her!
