FAQs

Question

When should I arrive to the Creede/South Fork area?

Answer

It is completely up to you, but we would suggest traveling to Colorado on Thursday, June 5th! This will allow you to really make the most of your weekend in the mountains even outside of the wedding festivities! There are plenty of fun things to do and places to shop in the Creede/South Fork areas.

Question

Will there be a welcome party?

Answer

Yes! We would love for you to join us the night before the wedding, June 6th, at our a welcome party cookout! See the "Events" page for details!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors and the reception will be a mix of both, as we will have tables set up inside as well as tables, yard games and our band set up outside for you to enjoy! Colorado weather tends to be chilly at night, and although we will have indoor and outdoor fire places roaring, it would be wise to bring warm layers such as coats or shawls to ensure your comfortability!

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We suggest staying at The Antlers Lodge near Creede, which is where we will be staying and where our welcome party will most likely be, but of course you are welcome to find other lodging if needed. Fun Fact: this is where Ryon & his family always stay when they travel to Creede! See the "Travel" page for more information and additional options!

Question

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

For this special day, we're suggesting attire that blends elegance with comfort. For the ladies, anything from cocktail to floor-length dresses are welcome, with a preference for earthy tones, floral patterns and navy, pink or green hues if you would like to complement the occasion's vibe. For the men, suits or sport coats are perfect, paired with jeans or slacks in navy or khaki tones. Add a button up shirt (tie optional) for a polished look, or keep it more relaxed depending on your style!
