Maid of Honor
Hi everyone! When I first met Jay and Logan in the Dirty Dale for Logan’s and my first year of medical school, I had no idea the power of the friendships I was making. Logan has since become my roommate (with Jay to join after graduating in December, woot woot!) and pseudo-brother which makes me all the more excited to have Jayden as my future sister-in-law! Jay and I enjoy marathon coffee dates (no less than 4 hours will do!), power walks around the park, solving the world’s problems with our fantabulous ideas, and desecrating T.J. Maxx’s inventory. My favorite thing about Jayden is her incredible ability to make a person feel special, heard, and validated. Well that and her uncanny ability to refill Lake Springfield with her tears every time she leaves. Love you always Jay and can’t wait to celebrate with you guys!!!
Best Man
I first met Logan on an MSU campus orientation tour. Coming in at 6’3”, he immediately caught my eye as “The Big One”. I quickly made the decision to befriend this building of a man, and I was ready to remake all of my likes and dislikes to match his desires. I realized this was unnecessary, however, since after talking for a few minutes it became clear that we would be fast friends. This friendship has gone from a dorm room to two different apartments to New Zealand and will go on to many more adventures in the future. I will always remember staying up way too late playing super smash bros and to you, Logan, for the next time we play: just one more game (and maybe one more after that).

Hi! My name is Gabby, I’m 23 (basically the child Jayden had to raise in college). I work seasonally as a national park ranger and not so seasonally as a natural resource conservationist. I’m probably best known as Jayden’s most favorite college roommate (and the person she just can’t seem to get rid of). I met Logan first (sixth grade, Grigsby band room) and I didn’t meet Jayden until later when I began high school. Jayden and I were friends off and on throughout high school based off the friend groups I bounced around in. We became a permanent fixture when she asked me to be her roommate (yes this really happened, I have screenshot proof) at Blackburn. The most memorable moment was when she almost missed her senior seminar because she defended me after I was called a murderer by our advisor (thx lol ur a real one). Luckily for her she only had to put up with me for two years and really only complained a couple times, despite the 100 times she drove me to McDonalds and fed my addiction. The rest is history, and I can’t wait to be the thorn in her and Logan’s side for the rest of their lives (don’t think I ain’t forget that Jayden said she wanted to basically be my neighbor forever). Ok byeeeeeee

My name's Liam Peterson, I'm originally from rural Michigan and am currently (at time of writing) a PhD candidate studying planetary geology at the University of Maryland. I first met Logan our freshmen year at Michigan State where we were roommates. Despite being nervous and coming across fully crazy myself, Logan was calm and quickly became one of my best friends and one of the biggest blessings from my time at MSU. Many of my favorite memories from MSU are playing super smash bros. and DnD with Logan and our other friends, often devolving into either silliness or ultra-competitiveness (sometimes both). I'm blessed to have Logan in my life and am soooo excited for him and Jayden and the life they'll have together!

Me and Jay came up as young punks in GC a few blocks from each other. High school got us closer and then post high school this was my sister, and still is. Some of my best memories are with Jay; T-Tops, summer cruising, gym, pool, DRANK, turn up. We always lock in.

Hi! My name is Ian Poage, although you may know me better as “Hypnos”, “The Midnight Conversationalist”, “Bed Bandit”, or contributor to the eclectic group chat names with Logan over the past 7 years (including, but not limited to, “Poagie-Mons”, “The Baggin’ Bikers”, “Science Nerds and a Writer”, “The Milk Men”, and “Tub Club”). As a fellow trombonist and squad leader emeritus of the MSU Marching Band, and eventual roommate to Logan and other groomsmen, our quick friendship was founded on a mutual love of musical theatre, nerdy pop culture, and general tomfoolery. We’ve been friends since day 1 of college, despite his bowl-cut at the time, and our relationship will only continue to grow (except maybe if he gets another bowl-cut).

Jayden was first introduced to me as the girl in my boyfriend’s PA class that would talk to him about Zelda and Pokémon and I immediately thought I’d have nothing in common with this girl. Fast forward a few months and Jayden, Carter, and I were spending more and more time together, getting half off pizza on Wednesday nights, watching countless hours of Broad City, and listening in horror at the stories they’d share from their PA school experiences. Slowly but surely, Jayden became Jay-dog, and Carter’s friend from school became my Target shopping partner, ice cream date, and hot girl walk companion.

Hello! My name is Connor Sturr and I am your one-stop shop for all things insect and arthropod related! I met Logan in the Spartan marching band at MSU where I played baritone and l annoyed Logan with my “defensive” approach to super smash bros. I studied entomology as a Spartan, and probably, no definitely, creeped Logan out many a time with my love for all things with more than 4 legs! I then went on to recently earn my masters degree in entomology at Purdue university. If anyone has an urge or curiosity discuss any matters relating to Star Wars or insects, please find me on the dance floor! I will close out this bio with a haiku: Logan and Jayden A duo as old as time I am bringing bees
