Ashlyn and Jayden met in college, the first night Ashlyn stayed in the dorms to be exact. Jayden and Ashlyn became friends their freshman year at Weber State where both played collegiate athletics; Jayden in football and Ashlyn in softball. They became apart of the same friend group their freshman year, continuing their friendship throughout college. It was not until they both decided to go back and finish their COVID 2020 athletic careers out that they decided to finally start dating (despite a mutual knowledge that they would eventually date someday).
