FAQs

Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will take place in St. Thomas at Magen’s Bay during the cruise, with a reception on board to follow.

Question

Do I have to go on the cruise to attend the wedding?

Answer

No, you can attend the ceremony in St. Thomas without being on the cruise. Guests not booked on the cruise may also attend the reception on board, but only for the limited 2-hour event.

Question

When should I book the cruise?

Answer

We recommend booking as soon as possible to secure the best pricing and availability. The rooms are filling fast.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding celebration! There are also options for free daycare throughout the duration of the cruise as well if needed! Please see Carnival’s website for further details.

Question

Can I share a room with other guests?

Answer

Yes! Many rooms can accommodate 4 people. We recommend coordinating with other guests if you’re interested.

Question

Do I need to pay gratuities ?

Answer

Gratuities do not need to be paid upfront. You can choose to remove them and instead tip any amount in cash to your steward or staff during the cruise.

Question

Do you need my booking confirmation?

Answer

If you plan to attend the group dinner, please send us your booking confirmation once reserved.

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Question

Where does the cruise leave from?

Answer

Port Canaveral, Florida.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least one day before cruise departure (August 13, 2027) to avoid any travel delays.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

No, because this is considered a "closed loop" cruise, the following is required instead: - Boarding pass - Government photo I.D. if 16 years of age or older - Certified birth certificate or certificate of U.S. naturalization If you have a passport it can be used in place of a birth certificate.

Question

What happens if I miss the cruise?

Answer

Unfortunately, the ship will not wait for late arrivals, so planning ahead is very important.

Question

How do we get to the ceremony in St. Thomas?

Answer

Transportation will not be formally provided. Magen’s Bay is about a 20–25 minute drive from the port. Taxis are readily available, and we recommend allowing extra time.

Question

What should I wear on the cruise?

Answer

Most of the trip is casual and comfortable. The ship may have optional dress-up nights, and you may want nicer outfits for dinners or evenings.

Question

Do I need to book excursions in advance?

Answer

It’s recommended, as popular excursions can sell out.

Question

What is the ship like and what’s included?

Answer

Here is a walk-through video of the ship: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YTGSDwXjJo This video shows many of the included activities and food options available on board.

Question

Will I have phone service/Wi-Fi?

Answer

Wi-Fi is available on the ship for purchase. International phone charges may apply depending on your plan.

Question

Do I need cash?

Answer

The ship is cashless; you will have a ship card connected to a debit/credit card, but you can load cash onto the ship card at a kiosk when aboard. It’s a good idea to bring some cash for taxis and purchases at ports.

Question

Are drinks included?

Answer

Carnival offers a couple of drink package options that you can add to your cruise if you’d like. The Cheers! package includes up to 15 alcoholic drinks per day, such as cocktails, beer, wine, and mixed drinks, along with unlimited non-alcoholic beverages like soda, specialty coffee, tea, bottled water, sports drinks, and mocktails. Carnival also offers the Bottomless Bubbles package, which is a great option if you’re not interested in alcohol—it includes unlimited soda and juice throughout your cruise. Even without a drink package, Carnival provides complimentary options like water, select juices, tea, and coffee throughout the ship. One important thing to keep in mind is that if one person in your stateroom purchases the Cheers! package, Carnival requires that all guests in the same room who are 21 or older must also purchase it. Just keep this in mind when deciding which option works best for you! The reception will also be open bar for a duration of 2 hours.

Question

Can I invite others to join the cruise even if they aren’t attending the wedding?

Answer

Yes! You are absolutely welcome to invite friends or family to join you on the cruise, even if they are not attending the wedding ceremony or reception. Just keep in mind that all guests will need to book their own cruise (or be added to your booking) through the provided booking information, and space can fill up quickly—so it’s a good idea to book sooner rather than later.

Question

Can I bring additional guests to the wedding events?

Answer

While you’re more than welcome to invite others to join you on the cruise, we kindly ask that only those who are specifically listed on the wedding invitation attend the ceremony and reception. Due to limited space and planning considerations, we are unable to accommodate additional guests at the wedding events. Thank you so much for understanding and helping us keep our celebration intimate and special!
