Audrey’s Perspective: Jaycob and I met on the Diamond. We had two different teammates who brought us on the team. I remember when I first met Jaycob he was very nice and introduced himself. But that wasn't what caught my eye. Not only could he field, but this guy got on base...EVERY TIME! The competitiveness in me loved how he was there to play and knew what he was doing... he wasn't there just for the fun. Our interest in one another didn't become alive until Jaycob searched on social media (he couldn't find me by searching so he had to look through potential mutual friends) to find me. As soon as he did, I received a message from him, "I creeped to find you". Once we were on these terms of talking off of the Diamond, we started practicing together. We would drive around looking for vacant parks or space to just throw. Having a common interest allowed us to become closer and to discover we had other common interests. We became really good friends and would carpool to games on Friday nights or go grab a bite whenever we were bored. What really drew me to Jaycob was that we were simply friends and knew we had chemistry and a connection... so much that we both said, "I love you" to one another before we were officially together. At this moment, I knew Jaycob would be very important to me as he loved and cared for me as a person first and I didn't have to be his girlfriend just yet in order to make him feel this way. So ever since this night, October 4th, we have been officially together. This is what makes our Wedding Date so special... we will be celebrating our 2 Year Anniversary as we Tie the Knot!
