FAQs

You have questions, we've got answers!
Question

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR THE CEREMONY?

Answer

As noted in the schedule section, please arrive at the Hidden Grove Estate by 3:30 P.M to allow ample time to find parking and get seated before the ceremony begins at 4:00 P.M.

Question

IS THERE PARKING AT THE CEREMONY/RECEPTION LOCATION?

Answer

Yes! There is parking available along one side of the driveway up to the venue as well as some parking space available in the parking lot. Please be aware though, if you are planning on driving your car to the venue, it must leave with you at the end of the night! Thank you for understanding!

Question

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?

Answer

We kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer capturing the ceremony for us. However, other than the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like!

Question

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar available during cocktail hour, dinner, and for the reception party!

Question

IS THE WEDDING OUTSIDE?

Answer

While both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same location (Hidden Grove Estate), the ceremony will take place outside and the reception will take place inside. As the sun will be shining (hopefully) please make sure to dress appropriately and keep hydrated!

Question

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed on your invitation. In other words, we ask that only named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding!

Question

ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we unfortunately have limited space and will be keeping the celebration adults-only with the exception of those who are part of our wedding party or immediate family. We truly appreciate your understanding as we plan for all of our guest to enjoy their night out! If you need any local childcare suggestions, please reach out!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is garden attire and/or cocktail attire. The ceremony will be held outdoors in August, so we recommend dressing for warm weather. The reception will be indoors in a comfortably air-conditioned space, so feel free to dress it up a bit. For garden attire, think breathable fabrics, florals, and outfits that work well in an outdoor setting. Cocktail attire can include dresses, jumpsuits, or suits—ties are optional given the summer heat. We suggest shoes that are comfortable on grass, such as wedges, block heels, or flats, as stilettos may sink. Please avoid wearing white, ivory, or dusty rose, as those are reserved for the bride and wedding party. Otherwise, we encourage you to have fun with color and dress in a way that feels festive and celebratory!
