In the luckiest Hinge pull of all time, Jaycie matched with Austin on her first day on the app. They quickly bonded over their lives as Cast Members at Walt Disney World and their shared sense of humor. After days of endless messaging back and forth (and getting caught smiling at their phones all day at work), Jaycie and Austin agreed to meet at Disney's Boardwalk Inn for cast night at the iconic Jellyrolls Dueling Piano Bar. A few days before the date, Jaycie's friends invited her to go out with them to Jellyrolls the same day she was supposed to meet Austin. She politely declined, telling them she was going on a date that night, coincidentally, to that very bar. Terrified that meeting ALL of her friends and coworkers on the first date would scare Austin away, she suggested they get drinks at Abracadabar at the Boardwalk ahead of time so that they actually had time to get to know each other before being thrown into the chaos of Jaycie's entire friend group. Only having been in contact behind a screen, they were both nervous to introduce themselves. Austin even walked past Jaycie several times, just to make sure it was actually her. Once their eyes finally met, they clicked instantly. They talked for hours over drinks at Abracadabar. The bartender even asked Jaycie how the date was going when Austin was away in the bathroom because she was so invested in watching their first date unfold. After that, they walked over to Jellyrolls for some live music. Austin was a champ and met all of Jaycie's friends with a smile. After a few more drinks, Jaycie grabbed Austin's hand and pulled him onto the dance floor. She had warned him of her love of dancing, so Austin was a good sport and obliged. The two danced the night away and have been inseparable ever since. Disney's Boardwalk Inn has become the most important places in Jaycie and Austin's relationship. On August 8th, 2023, just a few weeks after their first date, Austin asked Jaycie to be his girlfriend at that very same bar. Two years later, Austin got on one knee and asked Jaycie to marry him on the balcony overlooking the Boardwalk, just above the spot where they had their very first date. They look forward to making memories there for many years to come.
