We met through a couple of our mutual friends and hit it off over text immediately. When we were planning our first date I jokingly brought up the fact that I loved christmas lights and I how cool it would be if we could go see them on our date. Dakota agreed to take me and I knew right then he was a keeper. We then clicked over talking about football and which Oklahoma team we thought was the best even if we didn't exactly agree on that.

We began our day just like any normal day would go for us (or at least one of us did). We went to dinner with a couple of our friends and then took a walk around beautiful Lake Hefner. He took me to the prettiest part of the lake and got down on one knee. I, of course, said YES before he could even get the whole sentence out. He then gave me the prettiest red roses and the most beautiful ring I've ever laid eyes on. We celebrated with our friends and family and had the best nights of our lives. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
