It started out as just another Friday night at the Social West bar in Omaha. Jayce was out with a few of her coworkers, and Mitch walked in with a close friend who happened to know Jayce as well. As Jayce was sitting with her friends, Mitch walked up and introduced himself. We hit it off from there. We spent the rest of the night talking about anything and everything. Before Jayce left, she asked Mitch if he wanted her number- soon after we didn't waste any time planning our first date.

Mitch and Jayce had planned to get drinks at Social West before heading to Barrel and Vine to see a close friend of Mitch's perform. Mitch had other plans! Mitch took Jayce back to Social West- the bar where it all started. After a few drinks, Mitch worked up the courage to order two glasses of champagne to be delivered to our table where he then surprised Jayce and got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him. Of course Jayce said YES! The surprises didn't end there. Mitch had all of their close friends and family waiting at the Barrel & Vine to help us celebrate our engagement!
