Jayce and Emily met during high school through friends. The year after his graduation, Jayce occasionally returned to the school to visit his friends, and Emily fell for his humor and kind heart. The two have been dating since February of 2018, through college plus Emily moving to San Francisco for two years. Jayce brought Emily back into church, and they enjoy gaming, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and spending time with friends and family together. After getting married, Jayce and Emily will spend a month in Clovis before moving back to San Francisco for Emily's work.
