Our Love Story For both of us, faith was the foundation that we wanted our marriage to be built on and that's what brought us together. For Jay, it started with a prayer, asking for the right woman of God to enter his life. On July 14, 2024, during a night of prayer at Pursuit Church, that prayer was answered. He saw me, the one he'd been praying for, and knew that God was at work. The very next Sunday service, Jay felt the holy spirit push him to pursue his destiny helper. Meanwhile, I experienced my own push, choosing to change seats at that Sunday service. Moments later, Jay sat down beside me. We worshiped and exchanged numbers after service, this was the beginning of our story. Our first date was rooted in worship and prayer. By our second date, we attempted a sunrise hike that didn't go as planned, we laughed and created a great memory. The trail was way harder than expected and we missed the sunrise, but made the most of it singing worship songs and encouraging each other, made it unforgettable. Within a week, we both knew. Jay was confident that I was his destiny helper, the answer to his prayers. And for me, I was filled with God's peace, joy, and excitement. I finally understood the meaning of, "When you know, you know." Now, as we stand here ready to begin our forever, we celebrate a love built on faith and guided by God's plan.
