Although we both had failed relationships under our belts we weren’t ready to give up on finding love. So we had both downloaded Bumble, a dating app, to hopefully help us find our person. Justin had me at “looking for my future ex wife” I knew he had a sick sense of humor and I took the bait. After a day of talking we went on a ice cream date. After almost 4 hours of talking and 2 ice cream cones a person later we parted ways. Only for him to call me on the way home and we stayed on the phone until we both fell asleep. A few days later on his birthday he asked me to be his girlfriend aka his birthday present. We haven’t spent a day apart since. This Christmas we will be each others present again as we become husband and wife.

Taylor and Justin enjoy any outdoor adventure, but on this specific day they decided to go for a hike. Justin decided to wear cargo pants unbeknownst to Taylor to secure the ring on their hike. Taylor called him out on the weird choice of outfit but he played it off. She definitely didn’t think he was going to propose because he had taken her to a fancy dinner the week before where the plates were stupid expensive for a tiny portion. But after having a drink at the bar he said let’s bounce and they went to a different restaurant. so she was very confused because she could have swore he was going to do it that night. since he didn’t, she thought she was way off base. So on this day she was not expecting it. Anyways…. They made it to the top of the mountain where a couple asked them to take their picture. So they did and the couple asked them if they’d like them to take theirs in return. They said yes. And when they did Justin took the opportunity to propose. Taylor said yes. Turns out Justin was going to propose the other night but didn’t think it was the right time. And he was right. Taylor loved that she was caught off guard and they were in their element.
