Should we bring a gift?

Answer

As we are getting married after nearly 28 years together there is nothing we need, so we are absolutely not expecting any gifts. We would just like the pleasure of your company to help us celebrate our decision to marry for financial and legal reasons (smash the patriarchy!). It's also a good excuse to have a party and see friends :-) Edited to add that some people have asked about gifts, so if you really want to get us something then we would appreciate money towards our honeymoon.
