FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

September 1st, 2025

Question

Issues with RSVP?

Answer

Please text (252)-285-1775 with your name and if you can or cannot attend and I will assist!

Question

What if I don't RSVP in Time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by September 1st, 2025 you will be marked as "not attending." We would love to celebrate with you; however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. (This will mean you are not allowed to show up to our special day. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you.)

Question

What should I do If I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will NOT attend" on our website so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending", but find that you will not make it, please notify Riley via text (252-285-1775) as soon as you are aware.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at same location: The Farmer's Daughter at Walston Pond (6115 NC-111 S, Macclesfield, NC 27852). Our intention is to hold the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors and then move indoors for the reception. North Carolina weather can be unpredictable, but we've planned for that! If the weather does not cooperate, the ceremony will be moved indoors. We want everyone to have a wonderful time rain or shine!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00PM. Please arrive between 4:30PM-4:45PM to allow for parking and for you to be seated.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one it will be listed on your invitation. We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends!

Question

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

We love your kiddos, but we are asking guests to refrain from bringing kids unless otherwise stated on the invitation. We are hoping this is a much deserved night off for the parents!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we will be having pre-selected options of unlimited beer and wine served from BrewMasters. No outside liquor will be permitted on the premises. Please drink responsibly.

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal attire. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dress. Ladies we ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride-whites, ivories, and creams. Please note that our ceremony location will take place outdoors on grass, be mindful of footwear that is suitable for this. Gentleman can wear tuxedos or suits (dress pants paired with a button-down shirt and tie). No jeans please! Be mindful of the weather if you get chilly outdoors, you may want a light jacket for the ceremony and cocktail hour.

Question

Will I be able to take pictures at your wedding.

Answer

We have decided to have an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly request that phones and cameras be put away and silenced at this time. Once the ceremony has concluded, feel free to take any photos or videos you would like, send them to us!

Question

Where Can we park?

Answer

Parking will be on the grass as you arrive to the venue. You will see other cars parked there in the appropriate location.
