Question
When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Formal invitations will be mailed in the spring of 2024. Please RSVP no later than August 1st so that we may submit accurate headcounts to our vendors.

Can I bring additional guests (e.g., my kids, a date, a friend)?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. With the exception of close friends and family, we are unable to accommodate kids. And no children under the age of 5 are permitted into the venue. We encourage some of you to use this event as a date night or a vacation! If you received a plus one, it will be indicated on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

What is the dress code?
Answer
We’d love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! As such, the dress code for the wedding is Formal, aka Black Tie Optional. For women, this means floor or mid-length silhouettes (dresses, jumpsuits, lehengas, saris, etc.) For men, this means a tuxedo or a suit and a bow tie or tie. Please no shorts or short dresses, and please refrain from wearing white or shades of white!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5 o' clock in the evening. Please arrive 30 minutes prior at 4:30 to give yourself time to park (if you are driving) and find a seat.

Do I need to rent a car?
Answer
The Tampa International Airport and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport are about a 30 min. drive to downtown St. Petersburg. If you are planning to stay downtown, most things (restaurants, attractions) are walkable or easy to Uber/Lyft to. And as mentioned below, we will be providing our guests with a $10 voucher to use toward an Uber ride either to or from the wedding venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

For now, we are offering our guests a $10 voucher toward an Uber to or from the wedding venue. Check your invitation suite for more information!

If I do decide to drive, will there be parking available at the wedding venue?
Answer
Yes, Sunken Gardens has a spacious parking lot at no extra cost to guests.

Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors (keep that in mind as you plan your shoes!) and our reception will be held indoors.
