At Last

Our first encounter was at a meeting. He stood in the front of the conference room handsomely dressed and confident with a smile so big and eyes that could melt ice. I walked into the room, ready for a long uneventful day of meetings and there he stood, the center of attention. Our eyes met, we smiled at each other cordially and I sat down in the middle of the room. As he began speaking to a class full of attentive people, the energy between he & I radiated from his eyes to my heart. They say when you encounter your person you just know that's your person. This is how we felt. After he spent over a month in Maryland supporting our group, and me dodging his not so innocent offers for additional help with our new technology system, we were invited to a company sponsored dinner. The event provided an opportunity for us to talk, & laugh, which lead to an instant bond, confirming the energy between us. As the evening came to an end, he walked me to my car, and he sweetly kissed my cheek, and I kindly advised him "Now we go together". We laughed and he agreed, we were now forever inseparable. It's a beautiful thing to find the right person at the right time. We are so grateful to have found each other and be able to share our love for family, travel, food and adventure. Having gone through many years of life lessons, it has allowed both of us to grow into better versions of ourselves. And now, we're ready to spend the rest of our lives in Love & Happiness.
