Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely, yes! We are thrilled to welcome kids to our wedding! They bring so much joy and energy not only to a celebration, but to life as well. We believe children play a special role in marriage and can't wait to share this wonderful occasion with the little ones who mean so much to us. However, due to the reception capacity, we can only accommodate those listed on the invitation.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We can only accommodate those on your invitation for the wedding reception. However, all are welcome to attend the wedding ceremony! Catholics believe the sacraments are public rituals and beautiful testaments to our Faith.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Doors to the church will open at 12:30pm and the ceremony will start promptly at 1:00pm. The Santa Barbara Mission is a historic site that attracts many visitors, so we recommend arriving early to secure parking provided on site.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is free parking for the ceremony at the Santa Barbara Mission. Follow signs for Visitor Parking. There are several parking garages near El Paseo, as well as limited street parking. Taking an Uber/Lyft is recommended.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that all dress in formal attire. Since the ceremony is in a Catholic Church and out of respect for the Presence of Christ, we ask that guests refrain from any bare midriffs, low cut necklines, and short hemlines. We also ask that guests cover their shoulders for the ceremony.
