Jillian and Jay are both from Sandusky but it took fate to intervene a couple of different times in their lives to bring them together. Jillian actually was born and grew up in Southern Ohio and moved to Sandusky in the 4th grade. Even though Sandusky was small - Jillian and Jay attended separate Catholic Grade Schools and really didn't know each other till they were 14. Jay was a handsome All-Ohio Football Player. Jillian was a Beautiful Basketball Player at St. Mary's. It was a match made in heaven. They went on their first date when she was 14 years old and dated on and off again throughout high school. They went to College as friends - However, Jillian had an internship in Cincinnati her senior year of college and then took a job in Cincinnati where Jay was living after graduating from THE Xavier University. Jillian and Jay began dating again and as people say - the rest is history... People say that you’re attracted to your opposite - and that could not be more true for Jillian and Jay. Jillian is organized - Jay is a procrastinator. Jay cant keep his mouth shut - Jillian can be quiet and reserved. Jay hit a game winning buzzer beating shot in High School - and Jillian hit two. However - what makes them different is what makes them truly so perfect for one another. Jillian is one of the greatest people Jay has ever met. She is truly one of the kindest and most caring people in the world. Jay is one of the funniest people she has ever met. That is is the first thing she told her Dad she loved about him ("Whenever I am with him - Im always happy and laughing") No matter what, it seemed like fate was always there to pull these two together. Just two kids from opposite ends of the state who found each other against all odds - Sports Illustrated couldn't write a better underdog story...
