Out of the abundance of caution for the health of our loved ones amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to shift our wedding to immediately family and wedding party only. We are incredibly grateful that you have been a large part of our journey so far and are so, so sorry if this caused any inconvenience. Through all of this we have been constantly reminded how blessed we are to have such supportive and caring people in our lives. Thank you for your constant love and support! We will live-stream our ceremony, which begins at 1:30 PM CST on Saturday, October 10. Also send us pictures of your family watching our ceremony – we would LOVE to see your beautiful faces as we celebrate with you. We hope to celebrate with you in the future. Jay and I met the BEST way. Two of our best friends set us up - thank you Amie and Micah!! Amie and Micah lived with each Jay and I (respectively) and worked together. They were out one night (likely sharing roommate stories) and decided to set us up. Little did Jay remember, I had met him before at a show at The Basement in May 2017. I was introduced to him briefly, but we didn't have a one-on-one conversation. So on our blind date I definitely recognized him and knew I had met him before, but knew very little about him. We spent the evening in Five Points visiting Rosemary, Treehouse, and Ten Sixteen. While we didn't have a ton of interests in common, we DID figure out that we both come from the same family values and wanted the same things - you know, the important stuff! Luckily we also bonded over craft beer, ceviche, and the band 311. From there our relationship grew naturally, and soon enough we were on an amazing journey together. We're so excited to be sharing this time with the people we love and who have supported us through this special time in our lives!
