Alissa is outrageously funny without knowing it. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know. She once stood at our door talking to a solicitor for 15 minutes when she was late for yoga class purely out of courteousness. More than a roommate, Alissa has grown to be my best friend. I’d confess we’re an unlikely pair – she likes hotels > camping, cucumbers > sweets, late night decorating, and she mocks any and all “ball-sports.” What she doesn’t know is how much she’s taught me in the last 3+ years living together. Alissa is intelligent and inspiring. Her presence makes every situation more enjoyable. I profoundly feel I am the lucky one out of this chance craigslist pairing. I love you!

I could write an entire novel about how much I love Cheyenne, I don’t even know where to start! She’s been my absolute favorite since 6th grade. She is funny and quirky and just …always makes the most sense? We spent middle and high school together, listening to Cake and The White Stripes, eating Swiss Rolls and Sunny D. She taught me how to play Grand Theft Auto and how to sneak out of the house. Perusing through my memory bank, most of my nights with Cheyenne end in giggle fits. She views the world particularly the same as I do, which is perhaps why we’ve remained so close. I am lucky to have her as a best friend and won’t ever let that change. I love you, girl!
Nick Tadena

A unique quality in my relationship with Nick is the incredible amount of respect we have for each other. One would have to considering I’ve spend more time with Nick than anyone else in my life. We grew up together, played high school sports together, ran around with the same group of friends, and on top of that, we’ve lived together the past 7 years. We have watched countless innings of Indians baseball and suffered hundreds of agonizing rounds of golf together. Nick is my best man because he is the most loyal person I know. There is a small and chosen group he lets into his personal life and once you are in he will do anything for you. So brother, thanks for all our great times together, thanks for your respect and support, and thanks for standing by me on this special day.

I met Michael at baseball practice when my family moved to Pandora the summer of 1996. He has been my best friend ever since. I asked Michael to stand up with me and Nick because he cares about me so much more than matters on the surface. Sure, we love discussing the characteristics of a good coffee or beer, or catching good DMB set list, but he will not let an opportunity slip away to ask a challenging question about my relationship or my faith.
