Like many modern love stories, this one began with a swipe — on Hinge, to be exact. After some great conversations, we had our first date at North Italia on February 23, 2024, and that was the beginning of our story. On the night of my law prom, April 6, Jay surprised me with flowers and officially asked me to be his girlfriend. We spent that evening dancing as a newly official couple — one of many moments that still make us smile. That fall, we took a Thanksgiving trip to Leakey, Texas to hike Garner State Park. That trip sparked a new tradition of camping every Thanksgiving — a time we now treasure as a little piece of our story each year. Somewhere between the trails and campfire talks, we knew this was forever. On May 10, 2025, during a weekend getaway at Colorado Bend State Park, Jay asked me another important question, and I said yes. From a first date to a shared life, we're thankful for all the moments that brought us here, and excited for everything ahead.
