The Vidhi is a pre-wedding ritual rooted in tradition, where sacred prayers and pujas are performed to invoke blessings from the deities for a harmonious and auspicious wedding. It typically includes Ganesh Puja, Pithi (applying turmeric paste), and other regional customs to purify and prepare the couple spiritually for marriage. The Haldi ceremony involves applying a turmeric-based paste to the bride and groom by close family and friends. This ritual is both symbolic and celebratory — turmeric is believed to purify the body, ward off evil, and bring a natural glow to the skin. The event is joyful, filled with music, laughter, and vibrant yellow decor and attire. This event will be followed by Gujarati style Vegetarian lunch from 12:30pm to 2:30pm

A Telugu and Gujarati wedding ceremony blends vibrant South and West Indian traditions into a sacred and joyful celebration. The ceremony begins with the Baarat, where the groom arrives in a lively procession of music and dancing. In the Gujarati tradition, the bride’s family welcomes the groom with a garland exchange (Jaimala), symbolizing acceptance. The Telugu rituals often include the Kanyadaanam (giving away of the bride), Mangalsutra Dharana (tying of the sacred necklace), and Saptapadi, where the couple takes seven vows around the holy fire. Together, these traditions represent love, commitment, and unity — honoring both cultural heritages as the couple begins their new journey together. The wedding will be followed by a South Indian style lunch service from 12-2pm
