The Wedding Website of Danielle Gadberry and Jay Brown

Danielle Gadberry

Bride

Jordan Childs

Maid of Honor

Jordan and Danielle met while both working at Home Depot. They worked one day together in the paint department when Jordan asked Danielle if she wanted to come over to her pool and play mermaids. They have been the best of friends ever since. But while getting to know each other they discovered they “met” many years ago while attending the Sedgwick County Zoo - funny story about a gorilla and Danielle.

Mahayla Harris

Bridesmaid

Mahayla and Danielle have known each other since they were wee little lads. It was not until Mahayla transferred to Little River in middle school that they became best friends. Mahayla is one of the funniest people you will meet, she can make a joke at out of nothing. Like our senior yearbook quote, a little background, we were sitting in the lunch room in high school when Danielle looked down and saw 2 rolls just sitting in the middle of the lunchroom —Danielle—“Hey, Mahayla what are those rolls doing on the ground?’ —Mahayla—“I don’t know, but that’s just how it rolls.”

Harley Sauer

Bridesmaid

Harley and Danielle became besties in sophomore year when Harley transferred to Little River. They bonded through cheerleading and theater. If you need someone to talk to who will not judge you, Harley is your gal. Danielle and Harley can sit down and YAP and gossip and hang out for hours without noticing the time pass. Harley gave our little friend group the greatest gift by having the first baby child, who you will see later on, Mr. Man - Phoenix Sauer.

Jay Brown

Groom

Paul Zimmerman

Best Man

Paul and Jay met way back when they were little kiddos. They became friends through football and baseball. Throughout the years they have bonded over new hobbies such as racing and video games. After high school, they spent long nights in the shop attempting to fix Pauls race car. Now the both serve as the next groomsmen’s, Caleb, pit and body crew.

Caleb Rhoades

Groomsman

Jay and Caleb grew up as next door neighbors who eventually became friends. They also played football and baseball together through high school, but after high school they did what people do and fell out of touch due to life. Paul reignited Jay and Caleb’s friendship by getting Jay to come to more races that Caleb was participating in.

Simon Gadberry

Groomsman

Simon is Danielle’s brother and has become a great friend/teacher to Jay. Simon and Jay have become closer by working on projects/cars out at the Gadberry Farm. Jay is learning more and more about working on cars all the time because of Simon. Danielle and Simon have been BFFs since they were born, he is her first call when her car makes a funny noise and he is the best listener for when she needs to talk. We are very honored to have him in our wedding.

Phoenix Sauer

Ring Bearer

Phoenix is the son of one of the bridesmaids, Harley. Mr. Man was the first baby-child born into our friend group and we love him so much. Phoenix will be 2-1/2 when the wedding day comes. His favorite things are playing outside, getting messy, hanging out with his grandparents and great-grandparents (he loves his great-grandparents animals), and tormenting his mother. But how could you not love that little guy with the cutest smile and the curly red hair.

Miss Girl

Flower Girl

Miss Girl is Jay and Danielle’s dog-daughter. She is their whole world, she is so pretty, she is so stinky, she does all the tricks (sit, shake, and do a double), she is a recovering trash addict, and she loves her toys. Unfortunately, she will not be walking down the aisle as she will bark and growl at everyone and it would be a stressful event. But in our hearts she will be throwing petals down the aisle for her mom to walk over.

Becky Harris

Officiant

Becky is the mother of Danielle’s Bridesmaid, Mahayla. Becky is like a second mother to Danielle, she helped her get through some of the toughest battles in high school. She was her cheerleading coach as well. As our coach, she always let us know that “we are beautiful and we will change the world someday.” Her door was always open to talk, listen, laugh, or cry. We are so honored to have her by our side on our big day.
