Portland is known for it's food carts and food cart pods, and this is one of the best. With over half a dozen carts to choose from this is a great spot for a group. Famed Potato Champion food cart is here, along with pizza, Mexican, crepes, chicken rotisserie and more.
Get a couple tacos and a drink at the restaurant (and balcony) we got engaged at!! Parking can be tight so taking a Lyft is a great option.

A perfect stop near the airport for before/after your flight, this renovated-elementary school is at the top of my list for first-timers to our wonderful city. It is quintessential Portland-quirky at it's best, and the McMenamin's chain counts over 60 properties, all unique and fun. With 5 separate bars/restaurants, a soaking pool, hotel rooms and a movie theater, this property is well worth an hour or two of your time. Get the cajun tots and order a Rubinator beer!
If you have 1-4 hours of free time, Powell's is an incredible place to get lost in. It's iconic and renowned for a reason.
A beautiful, enchanting garden that feels larger than life given it's only a square block in size. It's close in on the West side, taking a Lyft is a good idea.
This is always in the Top List of places to visit in Portland and it's truly stunning. A huge, expansive set of gardens to walk through and be mesmerized by. Worth the money and wait to get in if this sounds up your alley at all.
