What should I wear to a barn wedding?

Answer

Our barn wedding is "rustic-chic" and semi-formal. Please dress appropriately for a mostly outdoor wedding, keeping in mind that the grass can be soft - especially in stilettos! Tuxedos and formal gowns are not required.

Does the event take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will take place indoors.

Will there be transportation to the wedding venue?

Answer

Shuttles will depart promptly at 3:30PM from the Westin Tampa Waterside and Marriott Tampa Water Street. Please be on time as the shuttles will not wait! They will return to the hotels at 10:00 PM.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We suggest staying in Downtown Tampa, FL which is centrally located to beaches, nightlife, and the TPA airport. Recommended hotels can be found in the "Travel" section of this website. The wedding ceremony & reception will take place in Plant City, FL which is located about 30 miles outside of Downtown Tampa. You may opt to stay closer Plant City just keep in mind that you will be much further away from the wedding weekend activities and beautiful coastline that Florida has to offer.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids! But, aside from those in the wedding party, our wedding is adults only.

Question

What guidelines are in place regarding COVID-19?

Answer

Proof of vaccination and/or a negative COVID-19 test is currently not a requirement in the state of Florida. We are closely monitoring state guidelines and will update this page accordingly. While masks are not mandated in the state of Florida, we encourage you to wear one if you feel most comfortable.
