Georgia Aquarium
If you're looking for something to do, the Georgia Aquarium is right next to World of Coke and it’s actually pretty impressive. It’s one of the largest in the world—the massive tank with the whale sharks is the main highlight and worth seeing. It’s a solid spot to walk around and stay out of the heat for a few hours.
World of Coca-Cola
The World of Coca-Cola is a must if you're looking for something to do between events. It’s right in Pemberton Place and goes through the whole history of the brand. Make sure you hit the 'Taste It!' gallery to try weird and wonderful flavors from different countries.
Atlanta Botanical Garden
If you're looking for a good outdoor spot, the Atlanta Botanical Garden is definitely worth a visit. It’s right next to Piedmont Park and has some really impressive plant sculptures and glass art throughout the gardens. The canopy walk is also a great way to see the park from above. It’s a solid, low-key place to walk around if the weather is nice.
High Museum of Art
If you’re into art or cool architecture, you should definitely stop by the High Museum of Art. It’s the main art museum in the city and the building itself is actually pretty famous for its design. They have a huge mix of stuff—everything from classic European paintings to modern photography and folk art. It’s a great place to walk around for a bit if you want to see something unique while you’re in Midtown.
Ponce City Market
If you’re looking for a spot to hang out, Ponce City Market is one of the best places in the city. It’s a massive old Sears warehouse that they turned into a huge food hall and shopping area. You can find pretty much any kind of food or drink you’re in the mood for there. It’s also right on the BeltLine, so it's easy to walk off your meal afterward.
