A Wicker Park hot spot, this place has a cute patio (even in winter!) and great tacos & margs.

This is a neighborhood hot spot, fantastic for breakfast/brunch, lunch, or dinner. We've taken many a spontaneous date here when we lived within walking distance.
Foxtrot Market - Milwaukee & Damen
This is the store Abby manages! Pop in here if you're also in the neighborhood for a glass of wine or great snacks!
Metric Coffee
The cafe for the company Jay works for! Metric Coffee was recently rated the best roaster in the state! Between the friendly staff, amazing coffee, and sweet merch, they have something for everyone:)

Abby's favorite restaurant! They do have two locations in the city, but we like this location a little better as it's significantly larger, and has more menu offerings. We recommend date bacon wrapped dates, along with the focaccia! Come here for either happy hour, or a cute date while you're here!
