We're getting married!

It all started back in middle school, where we met through mutual friends. Believe it or not, Jaxon had his eyes on me from the start and spent the next few years trying to win me over — while I wasn’t quite ready yet. But love has a funny way of waiting patiently — and when the time was right, everything just clicked. Our first “official” date was anything but ordinary — I was thrown right into the mix at Jaxon’s family cornhole tournament. I met almost his entire family that day, and little did I know they’d soon become such a huge part of my life too. In 2020, life took us in different directions but kept our hearts close. I began my college journey at The University of Toledo to pursue a degree in nursing, while Jaxon began his substation apprenticeship with Vaughn Industries. With a bit of distance between us, weekends quickly became our favorite time — filled with visits, movie dates, and quality time that made everything else worth it. After my first year of nursing school, we decided to take a big (and adorable) step together — we brought home our chocolate lab, Motley, when she was just 8 weeks old. She’s been the best decision we ever made and filled our lives with so much joy and love. In early 2022, we moved into our first apartment together in Findlay, Ohio. That same year in August, I graduated from The University of Toledo with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and started my first job at Blanchard Valley Hospital in the medical/oncology unit. Just a few months later, in early 2023, we took another exciting leap and purchased our first home together in Wharton, Ohio — the place we now lovingly call home. Not long after settling in, we felt like our family wasn’t quite complete. That’s when we rescued Sol, our sweet and affectionate pitbull mix, who immediately became Motley’s best friend and our perfect second fur baby. In August 2024, we went on the trip of a lifetime — a cruise to Alaska. Exploring the breathtaking scenery and charming towns together was unforgettable, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a real adventure! Over the past few years, we’ve also made many trips to Texas to visit our niece and nephew, who mean the world to us. Spending time with them has been one of the greatest joys of our lives. Then came September 2024 — a moment we will cherish forever. While taking extended family photos with my brother and his family (who were home visiting from Texas), Jaxon got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, surrounded by some of the people I love most. It was the most beautiful surprise, and the beginning of our forever. Since then, we’ve been soaking in every moment — enjoying time with family, planning our future, and preparing for the day we say “I do.” We can’t wait to celebrate our love and the journey that brought us here with all of you!
