Our story starts as most relationships do- a set up from our mothers and our chiropractor. We went to prom, we went on a few dates, and then Josey gently declined a relationship with college approaching. Throughout the years, we were always there in the back of each other’s minds. “I wonder what Jaxon is doing right now”, “I wish I could talk to Jaxon right now”. What the Lord wanted for us was to seek Him before each other, to grow with Him which would lead us to each other. After many failed flirting attempts from both sides, Josey’s Dad, Mitch, had enough and invited Jaxon out on a family breakfast date. From there, all Josey would hear is that marriage is in Jaxon’s five year plans. But, he never said when his five year plan started. After a year of dating, Jaxon proposed and revealed that his five year plan started back in high school, and that he was actually a year late. Jaxon and Josey are so excited to start a new family, rooted in Christ, with Him at the center.
