Late May in the Willamette Valley offers beautiful spring weather with mild days and refreshing evenings. You can expect daytime temperatures in the mid-60s to low-70s, with evenings cooling down to the low-40s to high-40s. We recommend bringing layers to stay comfortable during evening celebrations on the mountain.
Guests staying at the Mount Tom house will enjoy complimentary breakfasts each morning throughout their stay. We're hosting a rehearsal dinner on Friday evening, followed by a catered reception dinner on Saturday after the ceremony. On Sunday, we encourage you to explore Eugene's wonderful dining options at your own pace.

📍 If you use Apple Maps or Google Maps, you can search “Mount Tom House” and will be guided right here! 🏠 Mount Tom House address: 34251 Mount Tom Dr, Harrisburg, OR 97446 ❓ In the last few miles of the drive, you might scratch your head and wonder “are we going in the right direction?” — you are! The most important thing to note is that Mount Tom Dr is going to transition to a single-lane paved driveway directly ahead of you. You are going to follow the driveway all the way up. The driveway is steep, it curves, & it is 1/2 mile long. Look for the Mount Tom House signs at the start and end of the driveway to help guide you the last 1/2 mile! Please note: at the start of the driveway, you will see a big rock to the left with “34051” — that is neighbors’ nearly identical house numbers. Do not go left - follow the Mount Tom House sign ahead of you. 🅿️ Once you have driven the 1/2 mile up our driveway, you’ll see the house numbers embedded in rocks and an orange parking sign directing you to the gravel lot. You have arrived!
Our celebration takes place across 200 acres of beautiful Oregon forest, nestled about 1,400 feet up a hillside. You'll experience some lovely inclines, gravel pathways, and uneven terrain throughout the day. We recommend choosing shoes that are both stylish and practical—think comfortable and supportive rather than delicate heels. Your feet will thank you for prioritizing comfort without sacrificing style!
If you experience seasonal allergies, we recommend coming prepared. The Pacific Northwest's tree pollen can be bothersome, so pack allergy medicine just in case. From late May through early July, our region earns its title as the "grass seed capital of the world"—and it's well-deserved. Grass pollen counts in the Willamette Valley during these months consistently exceed 400 particles per cubic meter, reaching as high as 1,300 (compared to the "very high" threshold of 200). Unless you're certain you're not allergic to grass pollen, we strongly recommend bringing allergy medicine, nasal spray, and eye drops. You'll want to feel your best while celebrating with us!
Check-in begins at 3 PM on Friday, May 28th, and check-out is at 12 PM on Monday, May 31st.

Your presence is what matters most to us—that's truly all we need to celebrate together. Of course, if you'd like to give us a gift, we've created a registry for your convenience. We'd be especially grateful for gift cards and cash contributions toward our down payment for a home, as we're currently living in a camper with limited space.

Sunday is yours to enjoy. After breakfast, feel free relax at the house, explore the trails and forest, or checkout Eugene—wander through local gardens, visit breweries, or stroll the riverfront. If you’re up for a little adventure, the Oregon Coast is just 60–75 minutes away!
