Javi and Yazmin first met in Mr. Rios' world history class. Even though it took her a while to warm up to him, Javi somehow knew the way to Yazmin's heart was through laughter. Their sweet and loving friendship soon turned into a romantic relationship. One night, Javi attended Yazmin's Spring dance concert, cheered her on all night, and asked her to prom after the concert, with a few flowers in hand. Since that night, their relationship blossomed into something no one saw coming from two high school juniors: true love. Over the years the two have had countless adventures, supported one another through college, international travels, and career changes. The strength of their love is one that is beautiful and rare, and they cannot wait to celebrate with each and every one of you!

Reid Park has always been a special place for Javi and myself. On this day, May 13th, we were celebrating our 6 year anniversary. Javi and I went to pick up food, and went on an inevitable Target run which of course kept me distracted! Little did I know, Javi had planned for our families to meet us at the park and witness our special moment. We got to the park, and as I extended our picnic blanket Javi got down on one knee. I turned around and found him knelt down, and he said the sweetest words I had been waiting to hear. Javi and I are so ready and excited to start our lives together as a married couple, we hope to see you all!
