A little help from our friends... Some love stories start with a chance encounter — others with a little help from friends. When our friends Chase and Alice first started dating, Alice told Chase he had to meet her close friend, Mallory. The following week, Chase took Alice and Mallory out for dinner. After a night of sushi and ice cream, he went home and told Javier, “Javi, I met your girl.” The timing, however, wasn’t ideal — Mallory was about to leave for ten weeks in Honduras! While she was away, another one of Javier’s friends, Anthony, kept in touch with her, getting to know Mallory (and maybe doing a little matchmaking of his own). Meanwhile, Alice dropped subtle hints that Javi might just be a good match. When Mallory returned, Anthony planned a few group hangouts that brought everyone together — until Javi finally asked her out on September 11, 2024. Their first date started with morning coffee and lasted all day, ending on the beach as the sun went down. What began with sushi, friendship, and a little teamwork turned into a first date they’ll never forget — and the beginning of everything that followed.
