FAQs

The Wedding Website of Bec Zappia and Javier Vela
Question

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both happening in the same place at the Coates Chapel – so grab a drink, make some new friends, and enjoy the night.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire with a western flair if you wish. BUT we ask that you keep it classy, no cowboy boots and no denim.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please respond on the RSVP tab by no later than January 15, 2024.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name on the invite when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. Enjoy the night. Stay late. Let loose.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Check out the "Travel" tab. You'll see our suggestions.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place indoors, however cocktail hour will be outside, weather permitting.

Question

When should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

5:30 PM, please! We're having a short ceremony and would hate for you to miss any of it.

Question

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm, followed by a cocktail hour from 6:00 - 7:00 pm with hors d'oeuvres. Dinner at 7:00pm. Dancing, desert, and beverages from 8:00 - 11:30pm.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

Just take an Uber or Lyft... But if you must drive (looking at you, Texans) there should be plenty of parking at the venue.

Question

Where can I share food/dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please include this information within your RSVP.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony and ask that you keep the phones and cameras off. The greatest gift you can give is being fully present to celebrate with us. We've hired professionals to capture the moments and promise to share the photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like!
