Javian and DaKory met through a mutual friend while attending Texas Lutheran University, where they were ironically studying the same major but had yet to run into each other. These two have very different versions of how they "met"... Javian states: "I was looking at a friend's class list and was drawn to DaKory's picture. Learning he was in football, I reached out to a friend who was also on the team to see if he knew DaKory." DaKory states: “She blindsided me, we exchanged information through a mutual friend, and the rest is history.” That first date would then change both of their lives. For the next three years, they pushed each other to be better versions of themselves. Cheering each other on in all of their accomplishments. DaKory finally "popped the question" in the spring of 2025 at the Japanese Tea Gardens. They are excited to embark on the next chapter of their lives and hope to begin the journey with all of you in January!
