Family and friends, With only 25 days left before the day we’ve been planning and praying for, we were met with heartbreaking news. The venue we had entrusted with one of the most important days of our lives did not uphold their end of the agreement. Through miscommunication and unmet promises, they failed to deliver what was guaranteed, and we are left truly and utterly disappointed. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, especially to our guests traveling from near and far. Please know this change was beyond our control, and we are truly sorry for any adjustments you may need to make. If there’s one thing love has taught us, it’s that celebration doesn’t stop when circumstances change, it transforms. So we’re transforming with it. Our new ceremony and reception will now take place at: Club Miralago 8955 Miralago Dr, Parkland, FL 33076 We cannot thank you enough for your love, understanding, and grace as we pivot and rebuild what this company tried to take from us, the joy of this sacred day. Your presence means more to us than you’ll ever know. We still want to celebrate surrounded by those near and dear to our hearts, because love wins, every single time. With love and gratitude, Javar & Jealina
It all started at a church event. Neither of us expected it to be the night our lives would change forever. We had seen each other around before, exchanging friendly smiles here and there, but it wasn’t until that evening that something clicked. I remember Javar walking into the room with that warm, easygoing smile of his, and suddenly, everything felt brighter. We ended up talking over brunch; One of those conversations where you feel like you’ve known the person for years, even though it’s only been a few minutes. We both found ourselves laughing at the same silly things, and before we knew it, hours had passed. What started as a simple exchange of words felt like the start of something much deeper. It was in that moment, when we said goodbye, that I realized I didn’t want the evening to end. And from that day on, it didn’t. As time passed, our connection only grew stronger. We started going to church together, sitting side by side in the same pew, sharing quiet glances and knowing smiles. It was like the world paused for a moment whenever our hands brushed. We weren’t just a couple; we were partners, building something deeper with each day that passed. Through all the little moments, like late-night talks over takeout or dancing in the kitchen to our favorite songs, we both realized that what we had was real, and it was worth cherishing. We had our share of challenges, but each one only strengthened our bond. I still remember the day when Javar looked at me, all serious, and said, “It's you and I until the end.” And in that moment, I believed him with all my heart. Now, as we stand here, about to take this huge step and begin a new chapter in our lives, I can’t help but think about how far we’ve come. From that church event, to our first date, to the quiet moments we’ve shared just being together, our love has grown in ways we never imagined. It’s been a journey full of laughter, growth, and discovery. We are so excited for what’s next, for the days filled with love, laughter, and the simple joy of knowing that we have found our forever person. As we take on life, hand in hand, we know one thing for sure: It's us until the end.
