Yes we matched on Tinder and we should be sponsored by them! Patrick and I (Janine) matched earlier in the week and we talked about anything and everything before we had our first date. We had our first date at Starbucks near the UT campus at 5pm. Prior to the date, I was nervous and I also received a message from a friend to play tennis instead at 4:30 pm, but I felt bad to not show up to the date so I didn't (what a good decision Janine). Before the date, Patrick received a call from a friend to see if he was nervous, and he wasn't until he was talking to her and he started thinking what if it was a dude or what if he gets cat-fished (Well... he didn't). During the date, it seemed endless and we talked forever about anything and everything. I thought it was weird when we both had very similar likes and dislikes, but Patrick said I thought it was cool this girl can play video games. From then it's been endless butterfly feelings in the stomach.

We were both in Detroit as I (Janine) was staying with Patrick while I had my clinical rotation in the area. Earlier in the week, Patrick suggested we go to an outdoor concert in Toledo on July 22,2018 at the Toledo Zoo. While we were driving down to Toledo nothing seemed off at all, it seemed like we were just going on another date night. Patrick said we had some time before the concert so he took me to all the places that had meaning to our relationship such as the places I lived, UT campus, Wildwood Metropark and he ended it with us going to Starbucks which is where we first met and sat at the same table where he popped the question! We can't wait to start this new journey in our lives! See you in Detroit!
