Our story began before college, when we discovered we were attending the same school. Through a Facebook group for incoming students, we became fast digital friends. We'd talk for hours on the phone each day, and mail each other mixed CDs infused with subtle hints of flirtation. We met in person the first night we arrived at our college campus. In an instant, we went from being pen pals to kindred spirits. Our connection was effortless, loving, and deep. We fell fast in love, a love that felt like it had existed before we met, perhaps even in a past life. But as sometimes happens with young love, our timing was far from ideal. We each embarked on separate journeys through life, traveling abroad, moving to separate states, and setting off on different careers. Even as our paths diverged, we remained friends - keeping up by phone and continuing to send each other mixes. Years later, with a little persistence on Azad's part, and an openness in Jasyn's heart, we reunited and rekindled our love. With one another, it finally felt like our souls were at home. It often feels like our bond is the result of two spirits that journeyed through lifetimes to finally flourish. Now, on a threshold of a new chapter, we can't wait to celebrate our love in the company of all of our favorite people!
