I have found the one whom my soul loves.

Although I knew of Jasper in high school by seeing him in the halls, having different friends and lives. Just seeing him so frequently I never knew he’d be everything I prayed for and now my fiance, and husband to be but this is our beginning… December 19, is the start of our story, I initiated the conversation on a DM that jasper posted. I wasn’t looking for a relationship at the time but now I have gained my biggest blessing. After messaging Jasper we would nonstop facetime and text everyday. We talked about our dreams, goals, our biggest fears and more. Finally after talking for about a month we finally went on our first date on January 16. He picked me up and we went to Sonic. We ate ice cream and fries while we talked for what seemed like forever was only two hours before our movie date. After our date we went on a drive listening to our favorite country artist, Luke Combs, screaming the lyrics at the top of our lungs- It is one day I will never forget. Jasper then pulled into the front of my house and we talked about how much fun we had then said goodbye hoping to see each other soon. I knew after the first date that he was the one for me. After months of seeing each other, going to my first rave concert, going to disney for Jaspers 21st Birthday and his first time ever, our love for each other grew stronger. After a short period of time I knew I had found my person. May 02, Jasper comes over and he calls to tell me to come out front saying he had a surprise for me! He tells me that I need to close my eyes bringing out two beautiful gold and blue bracelets. One of the bracelets had a heart and the other was an infinity sign. He put them on and looked into my eyes saying “Although I made you wait all this time but I can’t see my life without you. Will you be my girlfriend?” At that point I felt all the butterflies that I still feel today, knowing after our first phone call, our first date and more that I knew in my heart that I found my best friend and the one I wanted to spend forever with. God has given me one of my biggest blessings that I can’t see my life without. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Jasper. I’ve officially found my lobster!🤍

All though I knew of shaleena since high school we never got the chance to meet each other till our twenties. It started with a simple text that lead us to this moment. Shaleena actually sent a text to start this all “she’s so bold” is what I thought. I liked the idea so I messaged her back just a simple text turned into a good morning text a goodnight text and then a everyday conversation seeing how she was till the day I finally tried to take her on a date. I was in town so I thought why not, I asked her if she wanted to get sushi where she denied me but it didn’t bother me. From what she told me, she was busy so I just had to find the right time. Eventually I asked her on a date to the movies where I finally got a yes, I was excited! I waited till that day -Jan 16 our first date. I had waited the whole day got ready and headed out, on the way there I was nervous but ready, pulling up she sent me to a address that was down the street from her house. Confused, I drove up she had texted me to come in, she would meet me at the front. Once I was in, I was greeted by her sister, her mom, and the neighbor. Her sister, I could tell didn’t care if I stayed or if I went and her mom was happy to meet me. We made small talk and then off we went to the movies after that night is when it all began. I made Shaleena wait, seeing her through her good and her bad, taking her to meet my family till.. May 2nd, I had went over to Shaleena's house asking her to come outside, I had a surprise for her, I had gotten her two bracelets one with a heart and one with a infinity sign on it- a symbol of my infinite love for her. I was going to ask her out. Nervously, I looked into her eyes and told her, "I’m sorry I made you wait for so long but I couldn’t go through this life without you, through your good and your bad." I love who she is as a person and I wanted her to be my girlfriend so I asked her and she said yes. Fast forward to July 7th, we took a cruise with my family to Mexico. 4 days of pure enjoyment and relaxation, in those 4 days I got to see her have the best time ever. With both of us doing something we’ve never done before. Our first time on a cruise, we got to spend family time together, watch comedy shows, wine and dine together and explore Mexico. Seeing her in a new environment made me fall even more in love with her, seeing how she could adapt and have fun no matter where we are, no matter what’s going on, she can always have a great time and I loved it. I loved seeing her with my family and the kids, singing and laughing for those 4 days I had a stronger love for her- seeing her get closer to my family. Fast forward -Feb 24th after a long time coming the day to propose was here! Me and Sheena had planned it out just how Shaleena wanted it. I woke up that morning more nervous than I had ever been. Getting ready, I was shaking trying to think of the words to say to her when the time would come.. The morning flew by and it was time for me and her to go out; We went to breakfast, she could tell I was nervous, I was trying to stay calm! So happy for what’s to come, we went out and bought a couple things and then it was time to go back to the house. On the drive home she fell asleep, as I drove I couldn’t help but admire her, this was the woman I was gonna spend the rest of my life wit,. She was so beautiful. As we got closer to home she woke up, we pulled into the driveway and I told her I would be right back, her Nino and Nina came and grabbed her from the car and I waited in the back and they lead her to me. I couldn’t help but smile she took my hand and as we stood there it was time, I told her she’s known this was coming from the conversation and through the ups and downs you are the one I love and want to be with forever and I kneeled down and asked the question “will you marry me” she said yes and that’s our story.. this is how it began to now.
