Bainbridge Island's shopping and town center. Our favorite spots include Blackbird Bakery, Berry Patch Kitchen Store (incredible spatula selection), Salt House Mercantile (local provisions), Petit & Olsen (beautiful mens and womenswear), Bon Bon Candies (obscure chocolate from across the globe!), and Bruciato (upscale Italian nibbles and wood-fired pizza)! Winslow is a must!
444-acre second-growth forest, lake and wetlands located on Bainbridge Island. Our favorite trail takes you down to a rocky beach on Agate Pass, Bún's favorite swimming spot. A trip to Gazzam guarantees a dog bath.
Our favorite local coffee shop. Excellent pastries and actual macchiatos! A great candidate to recover from the weekend's festivities.
Our favorite spot for swimming! You'll catch us here on any 90+ degree day, pretending we live somewhere tropical. For the thrill seekers, there's an excellent dock for jumping.
Great cafe to grab a picnic, fun shop downstairs and the second largest Sea Shell Museum in the world upstairs. Its worth taking a stroll through Port Gamble!
Kayak and stand-up paddle board rental - but you've been warned, the Puget Sound is extremely cold, even in the summer!
Jasper's go-to spot for date nights. Excellent upscale dining.
Private salt water soaking tubs. Need we say more?
4 miles, 2000' vertical gain - an excellent short hike with an even more excellent view of Puget Sound waiting for you at the summit! Birds galore!
9 miles, 2700' vertical gain - A slightly more strenuous hike. No real opportunities for 'views', so feel free to turn around at any point. Amateur mycologists will delight in the concentration of fungi! Walking through 'the notch' reminds us of Lord of the Rings!
7 miles, 3400' vertical gain - A strenuous hike. If you can manage to navigate around False Prophet Lake, you'll be rewarded with a pristine alpine lake. Let us know if you plan on trying this one out - we'll give you all the details!
This scenic drive through the Olympic National Park is a must if the weather is right! This was one of the spots we took our engagement photos.
A Seattle must! Famous for fishmongers, produce stalls, craft stands and specialty food shops. Lindsay's favorite food stall is Piroshky Piroshky, Jasper prefers Mee-Sum Pastry (get the barbecue pork Hum Bao). We also love to pick up fresh tuna and all the fixings for homemade poke bowls!
Situated at Phinney Ridge (a very cool Seattle neighborhood), this is your chance to check out an apparent tourist mainstay before we have! Tell us how the tour went! Bring us some tasty chocolate treats!
Ours (and Grayson's) favorite Seattle Museum! Climb onboard JFK's Air Force One and the West Coast's only Concorde, then revel in the history of WWI and WWII aircraft, and the fastest jet in the world.
