Jeffrey Varughese

Best Man

Jeffrey is Jason’s younger brother and his best friend! Growing up they did a lot of things together including sharing a room, playing sports, going to the park, and going to church. Both Jason & Jeffrey love God, value family, enjoy competing in all things (competition may or may not cause an argument). If you’re looking for Jason & Jeffrey they are easy to find just look for the people who have a smile that brightens the room, a contagious laugh, and a love for America’s Team…of course THE DALLAS COWBOYS! Fun Fact: They both are in love with an occupational therapist. You can say they have a type. There is no other person that Jason could imagine being by his side as his best man than Jeffrey!

Alyssa Fischer

Matron of Honor

Alyssa is not only Katie’s aunt, but one of her best friends. Alyssa and Katie have always been close, but developed a strong bond when Katie was in college. Alyssa and Tim (Katie’s Uncle) actually introduced Katie to GV Christian Center many years ago. In some ways you can say they played a big part in Jason and Katie’s love story! Aside from this, Alyssa has always played a significant part in Katie’s faith as she embodies the fearless, incredible Godly woman Katie hopes to emulate. Some of Alyssa and Katie’s favorite things to do together is chat over a nice cup of coffee, marvel at their love of cacti, and watch movies. Katie is very blessed and excited to have Alyssa by her side during the big day!

Ryan Fischer

Ryan is Katie’s brother and someone she has looked up to since the day she was born. Since 2019 when Jason & Katie started dating, Jason & Ryan's relationship has grown and grown. They are blessed to call each other not just friends, but family. Ryan is one of the funniest and wittiest people they both have ever met. He is an expert storyteller and has a knack for getting everyone in the room to laugh. Ryan values family above anything else and would do anything to love and support those closest to him. Jason & Katie are honored to have Ryan as a groomsman to commemorate their two families coming together.

Taniya Varughese

Bridesmaid

Taniya is Jason’s sister-in-law. She is selfless, compassionate, one of the most kind people Jason & Katie has ever met. Before Jason & Katie started dating, Taniya & Katie met briefly at an occupational therapy conference. As occupational therapists, Taniya & Katie became friends immediately. Katie appreciates how loving, empathetic, and welcoming Taniya has been to her. Taniya, Jason, and Katie bond over their love of food, exploring new places, and spending time with their bestie, Peyton. Taniya sets an incredible example of what it means to be a Godly wife, mother, and sister. Jason & Katie are honored to have Taniya stand by Katie’s side as a bridesmaid to commemorate their two families coming together.
