FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jason Grady and Allison Hamel
Question

RSVP: How do I rsvp? When should I rsvp by?

Answer

You'll be able to utilize our online RSVP here on the website to indicate if you are able to attend our celebration once you receive your formal invitation in the mail. No meal selections are needed with your RSVP as dinner will be buffet style. We kindly ask that you RSVP by March 15th. Please reach out to Allison directly with any food allergies (Ahamel115@gmail.com)

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! Please go under the "Travel" section of our website for nearby accommodations. The first listed (Comfort Inn & Suites Sturbridge-Brimfield) has a block set up for your convenience.

Question

What time should guests arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. We ask for guests to plan to arrive between 3:30-3:45pm.

Question

Are the ceremony and the reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes, they both are at Spencer Country Inn in Spencer MA. The ceremony will take place outdoors (weather permitting). After we say "I Do" we welcome you to join us for an indoor cocktail hour and reception to immediately follow. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served during cocktail hour and a buffet dinner during the reception.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. For men, we suggest a suit, blazer, or button down with pants. For women, a dress, jumpsuit, or dressy separates would be appropriate. Please refrain from wearing white or ivory.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We can accommodate to those formally invited. If you received a plus one, it will be noted on the formal invitation and will be indicated on your online RSVP. We look forward to celebrating with our family and friends!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding to adults only, except for the kids in our wedding party and a select few immediate family members. Those will be indicated with your formal invitation and listed within your online RSVP. We appreciate your understanding and making arrangements to leave children at home.

Question

Can I take photos/video during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day. We kindly ask that you don't use phones during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos the rest of the evening!
