✈️ Flying in for the wedding?

Answer

The easiest airport is Westchester County Airport (HPN), about an hour from the venue. Guests may also fly into John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), LaGuardia Airport (LGA), or Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). From the NYC airports, expect a drive of approximately 1.5–2 hours to the wedding venue and hotel accommodations ✈️🤍

🏨 Where do you recommend staying?

Answer

For the easiest experience, we recommend staying at our hotel room block at DoubleTree by Hilton Poughkeepsie. We've arranged a discounted rate for our guests, and shuttle transportation will be available between the hotel and the venue. Click on the "Lodging" tab above to book. If you'd rather stay elsewhere, there are many wonderful hotels, inns, and BnB's nearby.

🚗 How do I get to the venue (CoSM)?

Answer

CoSM is located about 65 miles north of New York City in the beautiful Hudson Valley. If you're traveling from New York City, you can take the Metro-North Hudson Line from Grand Central Terminal to **New Hamburg Station**, which is just 1.3 miles from CoSM. If you're flying in, we recommend renting a car. It offers the most flexibility for exploring the Hudson Valley and makes getting to and from the venue, your hotel, and nearby attractions easy. If you prefer not to drive, rideshare services are also available from local airports and train stations but wait times vary upon your arrival here.

Yes. On-site parking is available. Shuttle service from the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Poughkeepsie. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) available but wait times may vary.

👗 Dress code:

Answer

Cocktail Attire: We invite guests to wear dresses, suits, or other festive attire in Soft Autumn-inspired colors. Muted reds, Soft oranges, Forest teals/greens, Deep nudes, Gold.... Please note that the celebration will take place on grass and uneven terrain, so we recommend avoiding stilettos, or bring comfortable shoes for later in the evening. Stylish sneakers are very welcome!

🌿 Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place indoors, followed by a cocktail-style dinner, dancing, and celebration on the lawn. As October evenings can be cool, we recommend bringing an extra layer for warmth. Please also keep in mind that the grounds are grassy and uneven, so comfortable footwear is encouraged. If you'll be wearing heels or dress shoes, we suggest to bring a second pair of comfortable shoes for dinner and dancing.

No animals are allowed in the buildings or on CoSM's property. This includes service animals.

CoSM (Chapel of Sacred Mirrors) is a peaceful art sanctuary and cultural center founded by visionary artists Alex Grey & Allyson Grey. Nestled on 40 acres in New York's Hudson Valley, CoSM is home to beautiful nature, inspiring artwork, walking paths, and the renowned Entheon museum. CoSM also holds a special place in our hearts, it's where we first met and fell in love. There couldn't be a more meaningful place for us to celebrate the beginning of this next chapter with all of you.
