Maid of Honor
From swim lanes to far-off destinations, Erika and Veronica have shared a friendship that has spanned years, miles, and countless unforgettable memories. Their journey began in high school, where early morning swim practices turned into a lifelong bond. Whether competing in the pool, navigating new cities on their travels, or simply sharing endless laughs, their friendship has always been filled with adventure, support, and an unbreakable sisterhood. But their connection runs even deeper— Erika isn’t just Veronica’s best friend, she’s also "Auntie Erika" to the kiddos, a role she cherishes just as much. From fun sleepovers to being their biggest cheerleader, she has been a constant source of love and support for the whole family. Now, she is beyond honored to stand beside Veronica as she takes the biggest leap yet—marrying the love of her life. She promises to keep the happy tears (mostly) under control, deliver a speech that won’t make too many people cry, and, most importantly, celebrate the beautiful love story of Veronica and Jason every step of the way.
Best Man
If you know Jason, you probably know his younger brother Alex… or as the family (and anyone within shouting distance at the beach) calls him—Mook. Born just a few years apart but bonded like twins, these two grew up with sand between their toes, sunscreen in their eyes, and absolutely no off-switch when it came to brotherly adventures. From surfing wipeouts to “who caught the bigger fish” debates (spoiler: Mook still swears he holds the record), their childhood was basically a highlight reel of sun, saltwater, and sibling rivalry—minus the rivalry part… mostly. Mook has a legendary love for fishing—he could probably cast a line in a puddle and still catch something. And while Jason might be more about planning and precision, Mook brings the energy, the chaos, and at least three extra fishing poles just in case. Now, with kids of their own, these two are navigating fatherhood like they did everything else—together, slightly competitive, and with a lot of laughs. Mook is honored to be Best Man, but there’s no one better to stand by his side than the brother who’s been there since day one… fishing rod in hand.
Officiant
That’s right—Veronica’s brother Jon is officiating the wedding. Bold move, we know. But if anyone's earned the right to make a few jokes while also legally binding two people together, it’s him. Jon and Veronica grew up in a military family, which meant moving from place to place—but no matter where they landed, they always had each other. First friends, ultimate co-pilots, and occasional partners in crime (Veronica denies everything), their sibling bond was rock solid from day one. While Jon was the type to stay up until 3am reading Harry Potter books he had to have the second they were released, Veronica was doing swim laps before most of us hit snooze for the second time. Different speeds, same wavelength. She was always the first to make sure nobody messed with her bookworm brother, and Jon kept things weird, wonderful, and always a little too witty for his own good. Their bond only leveled up when they went to the same university, where they perfected the art of finding the most offensive candle scent imaginable, and basically continued being each other’s favorite person (though they’d both pretend otherwise in public). Now, Jon gets to do what he does best: make people laugh, say something surprisingly profound, and—oh yeah—officiate the most important day of Veronica’s life. No pressure.
