It was a tale as old as time. They met over the dark web, when Jason asked Shelly “does your dog have any clothes?” and then went silent for two weeks. Puzzled but intrigued, Shelly dropped the “are you going to call me or not?” line with her number, and so began their courtship. On their second date, Jason wanted to try a “cool new Japanese place” called “Toro Loco” (it was Mexican food). He then physically “raised the roof” to how good the food was. Somewhere between the weekly trivia dates, the snow days, the crockpot ribs, and the nightly episodes of Jason’s sleep talking, Shelly started to feel like this might be her knight in shining armour, and they rode off into the sunset with their Himalayan House Hippo, Chauncey.
