FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day at a historical art museum! The official dress code for the ceremony is formal, black tie preferred. Ladies can wear floor-length or tea-length dresses. Gentlemen can wear dark colored suits and tie or a tuxedo. Please reserve white only for the bride.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. There is only one main door so if you are late, you will not be allowed in until after the ceremony.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, this means that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best moments, which we look forward to sharing with you!

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, our wedding will be adult-only with the exception of immediate family that are a part of our wedding party. We encourage you to use this as a date night!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Of course!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a garage at the venue as well as street parking, however, we encourage you to use Uber/Lyft to ensure everyone has a safe evening.

Question

What is the attire for Friday's Welcome party?

Answer

Indian or cocktail attire! Sarah and Jason will be in Indian attire. We would love to see you dressed up, but cocktail attire works great as well.
